After a short break to recover from the Global Big Day exercise
the quest to photograph 100 species in Barbados in a calendar year continues. At the end of the twenty second week of 2017 my
tally of bird species photographed moved from 64 to 68. Birds added were: Bank Swallow64, Black-bellied Plover65, the
rare West Indian Whistling-Duck66,
Short-billed Dowitcher67 and one of the hardest birds to photograph
Black Swift68. I am hoping for better shots of the Black Swifts.
