My last bird of 2014 was also a lifer. It was a Black-headed Gull (Chroicocephalus ridibundus) seen in the parish of St. Philip on December 29. According to the book Birds of Barbados - An Annotated Checklist by Buckley, Massiah, Hutt, Buckley and Hutt, the last recorded sighting was on March 2009. This Gull became my 101 bird for 2014 and my 114 on my life list.
