facial skin with a pale bluish boarder. Breeding:
Reddish brown plumage; wings emerald greenish with glossy iridescence; Juvenile: dusky brown plumage. Habitat:
Mudflats;
shallow ponds etc. Statue:
Vagrant, yearly visitor
