Description: 5.5-6.5 inches; black legs; partially webbed toes; straight medium length bill; underparts whitish. Breeding: upperparts reddish-with dark spots. Non-breeding: upperparts greyish- brown

Habitat: Mud flaps, seashores etc

Statue: non-breeding migrant
